Lord Tim Bell will share lessons he has learned from a career of advising governments and leaders on communications strategy and reputation management at the upcoming Nation Branding Masterclass taking place at the World Travel Market in London on November 12.
The Masterclass event will be led by Simon Anholt, widely recognized as the leading authority on measuring and managing competitive identity and national reputation. Simon Anholt will share the results of his latest Nation Brands Index™, a global survey which ranks nations according to global public opinion,
and will discuss strategies and the role of “symbolic actions” in turning around global perceptions of a nation state.
Also participating at the Nation Branding Global Masterclass will be Dileep Mudadeniya, managing director, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau; Danny Lopez, managing director, UKTI; and Daniel Ritterband, director of marketing, Office of the Mayor of London. The event will be attended by up to 100
delegates, representing governments and tourism boards from around the world.
This Nation Branding Masterclass is the fourth in a global series organized with the support of BBC World News. Previous events have taken place in India, Africa, and Asia and a final event is planned for the Middle East.
