Suddeutsche Zeitung’s senior journalist, Ludwig Rembold, arrived in Seychelles last Saturday for a working visit to prepare his latest report on a Seychelles holiday with a difference. Mr. Rembold was welcomed at Seychelles International Airport as he stepped off the Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi by Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board. Ludwig Rembold, also the Editor in Chief for “Golf Spielen” for Germany’s Suddeutsche Zeitung, will be spending time on the island of Praslin and will be based at the Constance Lemuria Resort where he will be able to appreciate the island’s spectacular designer golf course of international repute.
Ludwig Rembold is expected to also visit the new Raffles Resort of Praslin, visit Anse Lazio, and travel on a day’s excursion to the island of La Digue before returning to the main island of Mahe to discover the new Ephelia Resort.
Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, accompanied by Edith Hunzinger, the Tourism Board’s Manager based in Germany, Sharen Tomking, the Board’s Senior Marketing Executive, and Marketing Executive Christine Vel, met with Ludwig Rembold at his Suddeutsche Zeitung’s Munich Offices at Hultschiner Street and reviewed the different reports published by Germany’s leading newspaper, and it was during that visit that the Seychelles Tourism Board’s delegation invited Mr. Rembold to again visit the Seychelles. At the Munich meeting at the Suddeutsche Zeitung Offices, Mr. Rembold was also named a member of the “Friends of Seychelles – Press” exclusive club by Alain St.Ange.
The Suddeutsche Zeitung’s journalist prepared his own program for his Seychelles visit and was assisted by the Seychelles office in Germany in making the visit happen.
Alain St.Ange said, as he welcomed Mr. Rembold to Seychelles, that it was always a pleasure to welcome international press to Seychelles. “We value the work the press continues to do for Seychelles. We know that any members of the press fraternity will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the Seychelles and by its unique natural attractions, such as the island’s white and clean sandy beaches, its clean and clear turquoise blue seas, its year-round summer climate, the diversity of its friendly people, among all so many other of the Seychelles unique selling points,” Alain St.Ange said.
