We are inviting filmmakers across Europe to submit their idea for a three-minute film on the theme. The winning filmmaker will have the opportunity to turn their idea in to reality with a budget of up to 20 000€. With a first class InterRail pass for the production team, they will have the chance to travel across Europe to shoot their award-winning short film which will be promoted internationally.
Europe means so many things to so many people: steeped in history, culture and multi-facetted everyday lives – EuroShorts Film Competition gives filmmakers the chance to show how they can capture its essence on film? The Jury is looking for a brilliant three-minute film idea which is inspiring and compelling. It can be funny, emotional, or provocative – the choice open. It can be drama, documentary or animation – or a mix of all – EuroShorts wants to see filmmakers being creative and inspired by what Europe has to offer.
