The Seychelles Tourism Board in the UK has been on the ball promoting the destination through workshops in the cities of Britain, with the most recent promotion having taken place in Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and Exeter.
Representing Seychelles at in all three cities was the Seychelles Tourism Board’s Office manager for UK, Fiona Lane. Also attending the workshops to promote their products were Tinaz Wadia from Banyan Tree, Zoe Carroll from Desroches Island Resort, Ash Behari from the Hotel Coco de Mer & Black Parrot Suites, Bessie Etienne from Denis Island, and Carol Tumber from Air Seychelles.
The workshops were organized by Destination representation, a travel destination specialist dedicated to Seychelles. Speaking about the workshops, Fiona Lane has said that it has been very successful with a satisfactory pool of participating tour operators from each three cities. “It is encouraging to see the growing interest of UK tour operators in the Seychelles, and our efforts to promote our islands are already starting to bare fruits with the increase of UK arrivals in Seychelles,” she said.
